Player Piano Project is an art installation featuring a simple mechatronic structure and LED light sets. It plays music pieces automatically based on programming. Combined with lights, this project aesthetic expresses the unity of light and sound, of artistic expression, mechanic structure, and digital technology, creating a new holistic listening experience for the audience.
This is the first prototype of the project, and was created with simple technology including Arduino, Python programming, and Processing.
